Cole is 8 months old!

Where has the time gone? It's hard to believe Cole is 8 months old.

This is how I found Cole when
I went to see if he was still
taking a nap. Imagine my surprise...
He was so proud of himself.
Needless to say, the mattress
is being lowered.

Being 8 months old must be
very tiring. This is Cole at
8AM!! He couldn't even stay
awake for breakfast.

Cole keeps mostly scooting around
the house, but then he backs
himself into corners and fusses
because he can't get himself out!

Just another day...

I think I would trade Cole places. He's got a pretty fun life!

Hanging out in the bathtub. This
duck actually quacks when we
squeeze his beak!

Just standing around looking cute.

Cole is showing us he can do
"downward facing dog." Anyone
want a yoga partner?

He is loving life, until he figures
out that if he lets go of the
cushion, he will fall because
he can't stand up on his own.

Grandma Mary visits

Right after we got back from camping, the next day my mom visited. She said she was coming to visit US, but we really know it was to see that GRANDSON of hers! It was a fun and relaxing visit, we took Cole swimming and all went to a German town and did a little shopping.

Camping in Pentwater

We went camping with three other couples the middle of July. It was an especially cold week in Michigan, it only got to the high 60's for most of it. The nights were in the upper 40's! Nothing a few extra layers can't fix! We had such a fun time camping and hanging out with our friends. Cole seemed to have a great time, but why wouldn't he with all the fun things to see like campfires, kids playing, and all kinds of new things.

Home Sweet Home!

Yeah, we survived our first night!

Enjoying the campfire.

Cole's first day at the beach

Pentwater is right on the water. Even though it was a little chilly (notice the sweatshirts), our whole group went to the beach as soon as the sun came out. It was a beautiful afternoon. Cole loved the sand and was mesmerized by the shiny water as the sun hit the water.

It doesn't get any better than
this, does it?

He kept sinking when the
water rushed to shore.

Go Carts and Put Put

The campground we were at had a go cart track and put put. Cole loved watching Dad drive the go cart, even though it was pretty loud.

Looking a little tired at the end of the day!

At 7 months, Cole is already a
LADIES MAN! I am in trouble!
